While waiting for the sourdough to get sour, I decided to make brownies for the skinny boy while he catches up on his math homework.
Chocolate brownies, of course! I found a recipe on AllRecipes, a web site you’re probably familiar with, but I find is hit-and-miss when it comes to recipes using all raw ingredients rather than “open a can of X” or “take a cake mix and prepare according to package directions”.
I doubled the recipe and mixed all the ingredients together getting a nice dark chocolate batter.
I then mixed in both white and dark chocolate chips and sprinkled a few more white chips on the top.
Bake 25 minutes…
Or 30…I did double the recipe.
Or maybe 35…
It might take a few minutes less if you don’t open the oven door every 5 minutes at the end.
Anyway, they’re beautiful! And delicious! But really, really sweet.
